Nockturnal universal fit - beware!

This is why you practice when introducing any “change”.  Both the S adapters and GT adapters fit my Victory Decimator XV arrows.  At 15 yards trying both a field point and my Swhacker practice head hits 4” high.  Put standard nock back in right back to dead on can hit a pea.     Going to send them back.     Any suggestions on a lighted nock you can “turn off” after practice with that actually is accurate and shoots same as regular nock? Never used any lighted nock before but figured would use for my afternoon arrow.

Lighted nocks are heavier and def change the spine dynamics of the shaft .

both with normal arrows as well as crossbow bolts .

as Max said you need to retune and resight in for the change.

on another note there isn’t a lighted nock that has the same shoot ability as a normal nock .

most are made with softer plastic , that have a tendency to break after repeated shooting .

anything that changes tune 4" high at only 15 yards is NOT getting shot off my bow - EVER.

This is just another step in broadhead tuning. Don't blow up your bow Jack!
Is 15 yards the beginning of the walk back tune?

bow shoots great with standard nocks.   I can hit quarter at 30 yards and groups that tight.  Same with Broadhead.    Not changing a thing

It’s only 4” high because your not sighted in for it .

besides changing FOC  which also can change spine most lighted nocks fit the string different .

what ever you set your bow up for to hunt should be exactly what you practice with

Dan objective was simple. Put lighted nock on "afternoon" arrow.  Morning arrow- no need. If they don't hit same POI, then I have no use for lighted nocks.  I think I have been OK without them to this point.

Last year I decided I wanted to try lighted nocks in the crossbow, I ended up getting AFTERBURNERS on ebay, I shot them along side the better known brands of lighted nocks, I saw no difference except in price, but yes I agree slight sight adjustment from regular nocks

Objective won’t be met because it doesn’t work that way .
it’s a  change to the dynamics of the arrow .
So you either shoot them all the time or not at all .

They are a great aid in finding your arrow after you miss judge your yardage lol
