I bought this gray laminated thumbhole 220 from a member on this site, still in the box, with a Vortex scope. Changed to a Leupold VX6 CDS ZL2 2-12 with Leupold rings. Sent the 3" Remington Barnes Expander ballistics to Leupold for the custom range adjustment cap. Definitely a tack driver as others have mentioned. Sighted dead on at 125 yards. Will be taking it to Illinois next week on its maiden voyage.

When you guys say tack driver what do you mean?

I have the 220 and am using remington accutips. My group from bench at 100 yards is like 3 inches

My Savage and only speaking for mine....Accutips 3" and the Barnes 3" shot the same.....but in my opinion the Barnes is far superior round on game
