I saw your other post about being a new hunter . If this would be your first deer by all means take him if you get a good opportunity.  He would make a great first buck .

Yeah I was asking more as a question just because I am new to hunting. Thank you for your response.

Shoot it!  Great first deer, but it will set the bar high for the next one.  However, you have to see him during legal hunting hours.  So even though he's on camera at night, it doesn't mean he'll be there during the day.  And deer have an uncanny ability to know when you are at work and when you are hunting.  It's annoying.

If he showed up and I was hunting, I'd take him.

Whats the guaranty he will be around next year ? None , thats the gamble we take !  He would be a nice buck next year .

I think it depends on the pressure in your area .

New hunter....that is a for sure a shooter. That buck is at least 3.5 and is probably 4.5 years old. Most hunters in this state will never get a chance to take a buck 4.5.
