Go see Dr. George Cattiny of Pompton Lakes Animals Hospital.  He's an outdoors man - hunts and fly fishes so he understands bird hunting dogs.  He's the only one I let touch my pup

Sorry about your pup Bob! The one I met when I met you at the Clinton cracker barrel? If you're still living in Pennsylvania I guess somewhere off of 78 and Hunterdon county would be the most convenient for you. I'd suggest you PM Phil..not on the rug...He's in this area he boards dogs for a living.

I can vouch for  Dr George Cattiney  ,been my vet and hunting / fishing partner for 20 yrs.He also owns Westwood Regional Animal Hosp. Has done several acls  for me.

My father's and brother's dogs each had ACL's done at Quakertown animal hospital in Quakertown, PA. Great place, the ACL doc is a specialist-  it's all he does. Half the price of any NJ vet.

A lot of vets don't do surgery like acl. Its usually a specialist that travels around an area, and may work out of a bunch of different vets.  Some will even bring with them their own tech .

Crown in Lebanon is the worst place to take a pet. Years ago my parents took there lab there for a simple procedure. ( dog had a wheezing issue what was supposed to be a simple operation. A day later the dog had fluid in its lungs and had to get put down the next day. My in-laws took there dog there a few years later for something. The stitched area was infected within days and the dog had to be put down.) Stay away if you want your pet to survive!!!
