My buddy cooked the mushrooms up as cutlets with a pink vodka sauce and homemade parmesan cheese.  I just heated them in the oven to melt the cheese.  They were outstanding; tasted just like a chicken parm cutlet.

I see this seems to have gills underneath, which the chicken doesn't have, right?

Guys, I’m not a mushroom expert. My buddy told me about them. On a hike I stumbled on them and sent him pics to confirm.  Went back to harvest. Gave him the mushrooms with the agreement that he cook them up to his liking and give me half. He also ate them before I did - LOL.  I thought they tasted great.
