Salmon River 17-20

Got back yesterday afternoon from the Salmon River stayed at a new place and it was great. Couple of members were on the trip, Buck154,  Deerslayer21 my two boys and a few of their friends. The really hot weather and no rain over the past couple of weeks really has slowed the movement of fish but we still managed to catch some. I should say hooked because our landing ratio sucked. John my sons and I all averaged around 10 hook ups per day but that is horrible for this time of the year. We covered a lot of the DSR each day but the fish never really ran. Deerslayer21 brought up just a few bottles of Homemade Wine [10] which went great with his Lasagna with Meatballs and John’s Venison Stew. Some venison sausage made with parsley and cheese rounded out just some of the meals.

Deerslayer21 never salmon fished so we needed to get him to hook some fall in the river and maybe even land one. Mission Accomplished sorta !

It was a great trip with some great guys even though the fishing really wasn’t good.

Was a great trip with lots of laughs.  Highlight of the trip was Mike Brig Brown.  Awesome fish.

Food was phenomenal.  Definitely not losing weight even though we walked and covered some water.

Yeah I got a picture of what  Mike looked like holding your first Coho BEFORE we got a picture of you with it....lol
