I agree. I had a pretty good walk on saturday and the amount of tracks where there were acorns compared to areas without were very noticeable.

Going in to a spot I haven't hunted in a few years in an oak flat that I've done well in good acorn years.  Haven't scouted it or nothing just hunting the tree I did a few years ago or close to it if it's not still standing

Thinking of doing the same for this afternoon.  Just drove by to make sure I could still get off the road there.  Used to be a good spot with acorns and big bucks until the private land that was never hunted next to it got sold and the deer got slaughtered.  Going in blind to sit someplace where they used to feed heavily on the acorns.

I finally went and checked on my blind from last year, put out camera, bait, brushed in blind, etc. starting to get the itch to maybe get out in a week or so…got some new bolts, bow sighted in today…
