MOVED Protest

With Nj F&W proposing an emergency bear hunt (which needs to be signed off by Murphy), is anyone down for organizing a protest to get him to sign off on this? Our politicians, especially Murphy, are spineless cowards and buckle to anyone that puts a slight amount of pressure on them, the problem is that Murphy has been pressured and lobbied by the “anti” crowd through their protesting; and there has never been a “pro” hunting protest. It gets on the news, gets people’s attention, and gets pressure applied. We would need a sophisticated & clean cut “frontman” to explain the science and legitimate reasons for hunting, explain the North American Model for Wildlife Conservation and so on to the press. Is anyone game to try to organize this?

Agree that hunters need to do something. Many people believe in the bear hunt but the antis cry the loudest. I nominate @LPJRto be the clean cut front man!

Sounds like a plan but with the season started  I don't see many people  giving up a day of hunting  to go . But I may be wrong.  We need to do something

I love how Moonbeam said he follows Science, yet F&W is slapping him in the face with it and he doesn't want to follow it. I legit do not see him overturning it at this point. Election is coming up and he won't risk it.

What needs to be done is Hunters need to put their differences aside about certain Pro Hunting groups like the Sports Federation , UBNJ , NJOA .  These are the organizations that are going to be the biggest voice but doing so takes money and members.  Numbers is what gets Politicians attention  . they know how many hunters there are in the state , When these organizations show less then half as their members that dont worry politicians  .  Each of these organizations should have every hunter belonging to them .

I do believe that we need to stand together.  I don't think the organization do anything for sportsman they dropped the ball back when this all started when we lost the first lawsuit to stop the bear hunt.
