You're right

 I saw maple leaves from the maples around it. Just took a better look and there are oak leaves way up beyond the maples. This one isn't dropping.  Probably going to fall at any time. Not much holding it up. Not too keen about sitting in it. 

Sow and 3 cubs were passing it as I came in

Found a hiding spot just outside the swamp in the oaks. Think a skunk been in here. Good cover scent

Your missing out on all the deer walking behind the tree. your spot would be good for taking a nap.lol

I have several that size and they never drop nuts . Seems the mid size ones do every 7-8 years.

I had good intentions of taking a nap but the damn farm dog behind me won't shut up
