2021 Rut Predictions

With the October 20th full moon, the few days before and after Halloween should be best. I will be off the 27th to Nov 6th. We shall see. Of course TurkeyWing may have other rut predictions.

Since I am retired and don't have to schedule time off, I will be in the woods as much as possible so I'm sure I'll catch a few good days here and there.

Strange rut last year by me - some of wildest action I saw was December through mid January. Sure lot were first year fawns getting an early period but many older does got missed in the first cycle.  Demonstrates the doe to buck ratio is too high I suppose

My last two biggest bucks were in December and they were rutted up.

Nov 8 has always been my best day. I took my two largest bucks both on NOV 8TH 2006 & 2008

Kansas for me November 13-21. I usually go the first-second week. It’s always good there though no matter when I go. Although it seems the biggest bucks are most visible week of thanksgiving
