2021 New Mexico Archery Deer and Elk

I’m heading west to chase Mule Deer and Elk. Bought a land owner deer tag and drew a Gila National Forrest Elk tag. Keep you guys posted

 

Leg one- drove from NJ to Louisville and spent the weekend with the wife enjoying good food and good bourbon

 

Leg two- yesterday drove from Louisville to Lawton Oklahoma to stay by my parents.

 

Leg three- today drive from Oklahoma to southern New Mexico.

That’s a great hunt. What unit? I drew 16A many years ago I think it was 96 or 97. Have to check. Enjoy and send updates and pics.

Seeing roads like that reminds me why I could drive 100,000 miles on a set of brakes while I covered 7 midwestern states. You’re always going straight on mostly uncrowded roads.
