Nice video easy 5 minute job, you do Turkeys the same way. My grandfather taught me the same but he taught me on pigeons.

I remove the entrails almost immediately after shooting.

My main concern is insuring all the pellets are out. I've been thinking of getting one of those metal detector wands to check for pellets.

ABBEY  is all set. Walked her 1 Mile today. October  1st for New York Pheasant  Hunting.

  Plenty of Great Pheasant Dogs over the Decades.  Looking forward again to a Packed Freezer full of Pheasants!

I cut off the breasts and hold them up to the light.  The legs get de-boned and ground for tacos.
