Although there was 3 of us we managed a 2 man limit.  Manly was to get out after work and test run a buddy's boat. He just got it back from being fixed. Boat ran fine and we went fluking.  Wind was cranking SSE. started with 6 oz jigs but had to go to 8 oz jigs soon after. They were chewing pretty good. Fair amount of shorts with a keeper here and there. Mike(OMC) got the biggest at just over 5 lbs.

Jack I dropped one that felt really big good head shakes but it came unbuttoned. But you know the saying never lose the small ones only the big ones. We all worked yesterday and ran out only for a few hours.

I often wonder if when drift is that fast, better off rigging a flutter spoon above the bucktail instead of a 6" gulp trailer which may lose their optimal action/attraction at higher speeds? Hell maybe even a 6" shallow diving rapala or bomber might work.

Nothing spooks deer more than my stank…
