It's all good.  That's my pot so she doesn't have an issue.  She is the best wife ever.  A few years back I was finishing off a big pot of maple syrup I was making on the stove in that very pot cause I ran out of propane. Well, after about three hours of boiling, it was done.  So was the wall paper in the bathroom.  There was so much steam in the house it started raining and the wall paper started to peel off. But the syrup was real good and she was happy about that.  Lesson learned:  No more wall paper in the house.

My wife made sure that the last (and any future) grills we bought has at least one side burner just for projects like this.  She has no issues if they are done on the deck while she's inside
