Trolling motor battery?

How many years do these generally last?

I think it depends on usage and how often its cycled. So it's hard to give a time estimate because someone might use it every other day, others every other month

I have a small trolling motor for my sneakboat (its a small one - Minn Kota 30#). I have used it, at most, a couple times a year (I used it only one time so far this year and drained it fully while out crabbing - first time I drained this battery all the way down in its lifetime). Other than when it was out being used, it has been hooked up to my Battery Tender Plus smart charger 24/7 - so it never self-drains while in storage. I've had this battery for 4 years and it seems fine.

3 yrs is a good estimate 

I change my bassboat batteries very 2 years tho so I’m not stuck out there in the middle of a tournament 

Started w Interstate but past few yrs been going w Walmart brand

I usually get 5 to 6 years average. I use it almost every weekend from March to Sept and store it inside during winter.

Nowadays its about 3 years, anything over that is gravy. I have one from 2017 that just won't hold a charge anymore
