I just walked up on this young lady during my lunchtime stroll through the woods.   Would you take this shot?

Yes I would take the shot. Of course I'd be killing Bambi....

No I would not consider it until November!

I am 100% without question sending my arrow straight up the leg and 3-4" above the branch = double lung with ease.  Plenty of margin of error there to take that shot. Realistically - that branch ain't blocking anything I want my arrow to hit so if I did hit it, was a very bad shot I would not be proud of anyway.

Archery no?  Looks like a perfect double lung shot to me, even from the ground

Negative Rug, that branch may deflect your arrow depending on angle, distance of shot, etc. Archery I absolutely wait till she clears the branch.
That’s the difference between calling for the tracking dog, or not!

disagree with y'all that would not send an arrow. Nothing about that branch is blocking a "good" arrow placement.   My point is if you hit that branch you are clueless where to hit a broadside deer.

Wow, didn’t realize you guys hit within an inch of your POA 100% of the time, hats off to you then.
As a hunter Ed instructor with many years of field experience, I will always discourage anyone from taking that shot with archery equipment.

You might want to look at the pic again. The branch is going right through your red dot.
