This Public Gobbler was my largest- 24lbs. That Shotgun is the Winchester- 1300 speed pump 12 gauge.

 I am both Happy and Tired after another Long Battle. 3 year old Longbeard at least.

 From way back in Spring of 2000.

This guy had Spurs of 1 1/8".

This next pic is one of my PA Gobblers from 2014 or so. The Man who took this picture is the PA Conservation officer who made sure,I had the Bird Tagged .

   I had my old Digital camera with me. All 800 or so pics list the year 2011.

  Called this Gobbler in with a Box call on Public State Game Lands. And everyone and their Brother was out as well.

 Crowded-- but, I made the Right moves on this big ol Tom. About 21lbs.

 The next Gobbler has a 12"+ Beard. A very possible 4 Year old.

 Another Tough Public Land Battle using a Double Slate and my Nạtural voice as a finisher as,I Don't  use the Mouth Diaphrams.

Hêre we have a Fall Gobbler to add to this Journal Thread.

 This One was killed in New York.

  Trying to locate a Family Flock,I was sitting in front of a Boulder overlooking a Public Swamp.

 After 1 hour of sitting and calling+ no response,I looked Up the Ridge behind me.

     5 GOBBLERS FLEW DOWN!

 They stayed up Top and fed. Once they fed out of sight,I charged up the Steep Ridge.

 This Guy came back to check out what he heard and BOOM!

 Fall Gobblers are Tough. Thick 8" Beard as you can see.
