Another Pitt Boss 1100 Sear control Mod

So, I Initially moved the sear plate control to the left side. It was a great move.
Next I realized Bitt Boss used the same old control rod on newer models putting the bent rod in the barrel. Slowly, I understood the layout of the rod for the look and function of a newer model.
Unscrew the rubber handle, reinstall the rod
check the function
lay out the notch location on the rod
notch the rod to engage the new lh sear plate tab.
reassemble the threaded handle

Numerous modifications on a well built machine is unnecessary

I don't even follow what and why.

The heat deflector mod evens the heat better and eliminates the left side heat directly on the temperature probe.
*tested and proven
The sear control move is more accessible.
