Pellets For Pellet Grill

Between work, painting my daughter's room I haven't had the time to do the burn off on my grill let alone cook anything, but I will next weekend, will do my first smoke a pork shoulder. I went to Walmart to get a few things with the wife this afternoon and picked up two bags of these.....From my readings online these cover the whole range of meats to be smoked, of course some maybe better when paired with certain meats but I'm just starting in time I will try others

Thats what I have been using. Burned through couple hundred pounds so far.

I pick them up at lowes, 16.99 there, no idea of walmarts price, different bag though.

I love the competition blend, the last batch I mixed with a bag of fruit pellets.  I love mixing my pellets for something a little different.

Just looked it up at wallyworld and there is a 2pack of 40lb bags for 25.00 online.

Wife signed up for a free month of wally+ for free shipping. Might be time to restock a few bags.

Understand that you are paying for volume pricing at Big box stores.
The reviews are are sky high on these less expensive name brands.
Where do the other brands come in?

Your priorities are all messed up.  I had to call out @not on the rug on this one too.

I agree.  I'm disappointed in myself.  I'll be putting it to use this week for sure, and I'm going to do ribs this weekend too.
