Barnett TS-380

Does anyone here have experience with the Barnett TS-380? It gets good reviews and I like Barnett. 

I'm looking to buy a relatively inexpensive crossbow for my adult son who's going to start deer hunting this fall.  Neither of us is the bells and whistles type--we're looking for a dependable (accuracy and durable) crossbow that doesn't need to be babied or require special arrows. I know an official 380 fps is "slow" in today's world, but  it's plenty to kill most whitetails at 20-30 yards.

I know a Guy on a Crossbow Forum that loves that model Barnett. He has owned about 6 different bows in the last few years but always keeps the Barnett.
