Good News: So I got numerous nighttime pictures  of this buck over the last few weeks, and just recently a daylight picture at 7am the day before opening day of shotgun, the last picture I got was early this morning!!!! Bad News: He already dropped one antler, so I just hope he makes it thru till next year.......The 8 pointer is above average for my area, if by chance I get a shot on him I will take it, if not I hope he makes it thru till next year as wellMFDC0844.JPGMFDC0872.JPGMFDC0992.JPGMFDC0991.JPGMFDC1013.JPG

Look what you have to look forward to?

As long as he makes it, he should be a sweet wall hanger next season.

we have him estimated at 143", using buckscore.com, and comparing it to my friend's 137" buck.....But I agree with you Grunt, as long as he makes it

Hopefully it makes it through, it's definitely a nice buck!

“I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear

I thought about this lastnight, as of now I will stay out of the area as far as hunting till next year, I will continue to go and check the cam and re-bait.... I don't want to push him out and get shot....Let him be relaxed.......I will muzzleload hunt a different area
