Dick's has at least two slug guns on sale:

Savage 220f with a 3-9x40 scope (not sure of brand) $529

Mossberg 500 combo: rifled/cantilever barrel with a useless scope, and a field barrel with chokes , 12ga. or 20ga. $299

I would like to get a Savage 220F but I already spent enough on new gear this year and wifey would kill me if I mentioned it.

Sounds good. When she see's it and asks where it came from, I'll tell her that the guys on NJW&W told me it was okay to buy it. Lol.

My favorite line:  "Sorry, honey, I'm not very good with auction sites.  Won this by accident."

Got to remember that one...Will definitely help me out.

Just called my local (Rockaway) Dicks, and they don't have the Mossberg deal that the NY store has.  Apparently stores have different sales based on their fliers.  However, it's still $20 off, and I'm pretty good with excuses to buy another gun, so I'll be picking one up tomorrow.  :)

I am so glad my wife doesn't know about this site.
