Recommended Posts

After about 5 years of procrastinating I finally retuned to my chiropractor last week.....First treatment  I actually felt better, but a few days later the pain game back, went back today for treatment #2 and feel better but he said the pain will be back, treatments takes time. He can actually feel the bulging discs I have, starting Monday I will go twice per week.....I should of never put this off for so long

Having had back surgery and ongoing issues with discs bulging above and below my discectomy I have to say chiropractors are no good. I get injections every 6 months and do physical therapy every week. Flexibility is key. Hips and hamstrings. When you slime gets misaligned your hogs shift and your core, hip and hamstring muscles start pulling in all different directions. Flexibility and keep the inflammation down.

I have never had any success with a chiropractor, in 1970 I had a  motorcycle accident and messed up my back. I went to a chiropractor who made it worse. I then went to a orthopedic spec and he wanted to do surgery to fix bulge. I then went to my family doctor, the same one who delivered me in 1950 and he said lite exercise and take the pain and it will eventually subside. I listened to Dr Giangrasso and today almost 50 years later the only problem I have with my back is OLD AGE CREEP.  Sometimes you just got to heed the advice of your long time family doctors .  I did and am happy I did today.

I found walking and standing and stretching help a lot. I used chiropractors on and off for years and had good and bad results. But like anything if you do it enough you will have mixed results with everything. I use a posture corrector know after work for a half hour that helps and so does a standing computer desk. I found when i came home and went on the computer just sitting there really made my posture horrible which just fueled my back and neck trouble.

Not arguing the point but your statement is funny. Like the guys "quitting smoking is easy I did it many times." only in your case is "I have constant problems going the conventional way".
