Woodpile Doe

Recommended Posts

Last spring I noticed a few times I would walk back to where I split my firewood, a doe would run off from the edge of the woods. I looked around and found her bed right against one of my woodpiles. I figured she was probably going to drop her fawns there but I never saw them if she did. Eventually she stopped using the bed.

This year, the same thing happened in the same exact spot, I put up a trail camera and will monitor her and see what happens. So far, I've captured about 40 pictures of her in a few days. I adjusted the camera after these pictures so the next batch should have a better view of her bed.

HONOR THE FALLEN

Over the years the US has sent many of its fine young men & women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return, is enough to bury those that did not return. COLIN POWELL
