Blood all over and a gut pile 25 yards away and got this buck walking around not concerned at all a couple hours later.

Wow, another good one.  Talk about the 11th hour, I assume your timestamp is off an hour given the background light and that was just toward the end of legal time that day...by a few minutes!

I once shot a buck standing in the remains of a 3 day old gut pile in Princeton.

I've never once seen a gut pile scare off another deer and I've often seen deer standing near a gut pile the same day or within a day or two after a kill at the same location.

I wish I put a cam on the gut pile to see what goes on near it. Next time I have to remember to do that.

Rob we did that in a opening and it was mainly vultures. We had a fox go by but not go the pile. I bet if it's a little thicker yotes would come to it.
