PA River Smallies

Just spent 2 days on the Schuykill fishing smallies and what a blast. Amazing structure and diversity in this am river and tons of smallies. Aight all sizes but def a lot of quiloty fish. Even snagged a 3.5 pounder. I think I’ll be spending my summer chasing these guys and cutting down on looking for largemouth all summer.

It’s about an hour to an hour and a half into Pa .

It’s all good .

I have fished up in muncy   (West branch )with one of my cousins a few times ..

he fishes all over from there down to below Sunbury .( Main river) 

said whole river Is pretty typical throughout 

hope to start fishing some of the closer sections to here .

I fished north in NY caught a few  walleye, brown trout and even a musky once besides tons of smallmouth. Very fun river.
