Who will be out next Monday: New Jersey's Muzzleloader season, or Pennsylvania's rifle season? I'll be out with the smokepole here in NJ !!! Forecast shows it's going to be cold

PA rifle here!  Some years, some of our guys that shoot their PA buck on the Monday opener head back to NJ that night and muzzy hunt NJ on Tuesday.  But I always stay up in PA to help with our small drives or to hunt that second day.

Changed my mind and took monday off. Muzzy it is this year. Three sits for 60 bucks is a little steep for the pines

I'll be in Zone 8 on Monday and Tuesday afternoon. I'm trying to catch up to my son. I'm down by 2 bucks.

I don't gun hunt, so I will be watching the trail cams to see which bucks make it through the month.  This is the one month that I root for the deer.

Ever go to the Pine Creek Inn on route 6 across from Louck's Mill Road?  Our camp is maybe 15 minutes from there up Louck's Mill and over some back roads.  We will eat our Monday dinner there after a day sitting in the woods in our stands.

On Monday I'll be in Bucks County, PA, looking for a doe. Used the buck tag in archery season. Heading to Wayne County with either the .444 or the flintlock Saturday for the doe opener up there. If there's good snow I will probably try the flintlock.

Out in Readington with a good Bud for 2 days. Only firearm days I hunts then back to bow for rest of season.
