New Crossbow String needed

Recommended Posts

I would like to get a new string put on my crossbow now that I am thinking about it and we are out of season!!  I have a 10 Point Stealth SS (Thanks Luny).  Any recommendations for me?  I live in Warren County.

Thanks for any help.

I think your string should be still good. Are you seeing problems?

I have had Strictly do strings on my dads crossbow. Ray does a nice job. He shot broadheads out of it to make sure the tune was good before giving it back.

If its not frayed or damaged  I would not change it yet. I still have your bolt in my truck, next time I see you you can have it.

No problems Mike, I was just thinking ahead.  Dont want it to happen mid season as I dont currently have a back up.  Hearing you say that makes me feel better!!

I think you are only in 4th season on this string and I went longer with no problems. The only reason it was change was because they were already changing the limbs. Inspect it closely and if you see no problems and  the bow is still consistently on target I would keep using it.
