sighting in problem ?

ok..went today to sight in the muzzy, the scope that came with it I took off and I put on alittle better scope.. the scope that came with it I had it dialed in at 50 yrds, the better scope I put on I could not get it to group, could it be the weather? im using the same rounds and the same powder pelltes. any ideas?

the scope that came with it, im in the process of switching scopes and I think I found the problem.. the scope base mount that screws into the barrel the threads are stripped in the barrel, so this gun is worthless now
