Its raining pretty good in OC, but will peter off by shooting time tomorrow. Should I still start on field edge expecting them to come out to the fields?  Or is it strictly for the ability to see and hear predators?

I  have had a lone hen come out to the field multiple days and the tom has been silent except when I came back around 10, but he hasn't came to the field. Its thick woods around the fields and swamp about 100yds in.

I’ve had very good luck after a rainy night in fields as long as it’s a fry morning.  They like to get into an open space and strut and shake of the dampness.  That being said a small open area in the woods would probably work too.

Perfect conditions right now, I'd be in the woods, 4 hours left to go yet,All hell could break loose, good luck 👍
