Lunch, Buckhill Brewery

Went there a week ago to feast and make merry ahead of the coming famine.

I started a diet and personal commitment to go 13 weeks without alcohol just to prove to myself that I do not have a problem.  LOL

The wings were good but the BBQ is not as good as I can make at home.

Once 12 more weeks have elapsed I plan to work my way through their menu...

As an aside, the Little York Inn in Little York also has good wings and the Buckhill ones were comparable.  I can honestly say that I do not understand the Start Ledger endorsing the Pattenburg Inn's wings.  I like them when they are crispy and still hot rather than flaccid and lukewarm (as the Pattenburg Inn does them) and I got that to a tee from Buckhill and the Little York Inn.

Congratulations did you get a 90 day pin?

We've been there a few times, we like it. I wouldn't say ecstatic about the place though. Last time we were there the wings weren't cooked all the way through and I had to send them back. I forget which burger I get, but I like it. I like that you can get a growler of beer to go.

Tonight we're going to the Apollo Grill in Bethlehem, Pa. Great place, highly recommend it. Won't be any pictures though, when we go out to eat we make sure to stay off our phones and just enjoy the evening.

I’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere more then the food. It’s always been good but nothing crazy good.

I’ve been hitting Easton more then anything else lately. My new favorite place being The Bayou. I feel in love with NOLA because of their food and that place lets me get a little taste of that.
