Looking to upgrade my smoker. I am looking to get this pellet smoker. Does anyone have one? If so, what are your thoughts?

Pit-boss makes good smokers. Pellet smoking is the way to go unless you are into babysitting your smoker for hrs

I am not into babysitting the smoker right now. For me with two little kids running around it’s much easier to “set it and forget it”. I was interested in this Pit Boss Model because I’ll be able to set it up and monitor it from my phone and check in on it every so often.

Pit Bosses are great! I was looking into buying one last year, before my kids pitched in and bought me a Traeger. Nothing like pellet smokers/grills, I use mine for everything! Smoking, grilling, even did some baking on it. You will not be disappointed.

At the risk of hijacking the thread, for you guys with pellet grills, do you also have/use a gas grill for burgers and dogs type of cooking?  I need to replace my gas grill and considered going pellet only, but I am not convinced that they are good/convenient for a quick meal like a gas grill is. Thoughts?

The one linked above that I’m looking at has a 65 lb capacity hopper for pellets. From what I have seen through YouTube and reviews is that guys go through an average of 1 lb of pellets per hour.

I have a gas grill also, but since I've gotten the pellet grill, it never gets used. Burgers are unbelievable!!:cook2:
