Anyone seeing any Chipmunks? I have not seen any here in Vernon or down at my mom's house in Bergen County. I do not know if they are still in hibernation or have suffered from the lack of acorns. mast.

I haven’t seen any yet in Atlantic County and I had them everywhere last year, I trapped some last year and this year was thinking of getting a couple stray cats and feeding them outside to keep them around to help control chipmunks

Was wondering the same thing last week.  Usually have a few in my rock walls, going for the bird feeder, and a couple running around the neighbors house.  Haven't seen any yet. Do have people around that let their cats run free.  See them often in the yard and a pile of feathers by the feeder now and then.  Could be the hawks, too, that are flying around more often lately.  Or the chipmunks aren't out enjoying this weather yet, which seems odd since the snakes are out.  The annual rabbit has returned for around the sixth year in a row.

Was starting to think my neighbor may have poisoned them before putting his house for sale last year.

I got rid of a lot last year using large mouse  rat traps with just a bit of bird seed near where I saw them.  None so far this year.

I thought, growing old would take longer !

I spent most of my money on shotguns and fly rods.  The rest I just wasted.

The bears, woodchucks, snakes, and turtles have all come out of hibernation. The large flocks of Canada geese have migrated through in late March. Most of the BuffleHead ducks that stop at the lake behind my house on their way north have already moved on. Where are the chipmunks!

I was also wondering......last fall....I had about 20 every day in my yard in Parsippany....still haven't seen one yet this year......not that I am worrying.....I am sure they will be out soon.
