Welcome to the sport, Mike.  Drag Bob's butt out in the woods with you.  There was a big buck behind the pequest hatchery when I was working on the new construction many moons ago.  Tried for him a few nights after work.  Don't overlook the thick stuff closer to the buildings if you're going to hunt there.
