Going to talk to my Butcher and see if he can do this with a Venison Loin.

Care to share the recipe ?  I've been dying to make this for myself, as no one else will eat lamb and it's probably my favorite meat

Salt, pepper,  fresh garlic,,thyme, rosemary,  olive oil....cove the exposed bones with aluminum foil, cook in oven at 400* till internal temperature of meat is 135* for medium rare

Not much you have to do with lamb. It has a flavor of its own, even simple salt and pepper will do. 
With pork it’s my favorite domestic meat

I was raised catholic and parents are still hell bent 

As an adult I do miss the "what I thought" normal but, however I feel I am raising my kids better than"god" can.

Food looks great so bring on the bunny

Not sure if you butcher your own deer as well archer36 but here is a clip from Scott Rae on YouTube an oldie but goodie.

BTW, Joe they look delicious. Did you prep them that way?

I got them from Costco, they come butchered that way....I did the marinate

Trader Joes actually has good lamb chops..........

Yes, I do butcher some deer but not all. I'll see if he can do it with the larger deer.
