To the day this past Thursday to get the kayak out and hit the Passaic. Launched in Livingston and went a little over a mile upstream. It was so flooded out it was hard to keep track of where the river was. I threw everything out there and nothing but huge carp jumping all over the place. It was good to get out though. 25c2b898efcc0e5090cba8f6fa43ecec.jpg

Nice yak. Glad to see you got out there back safe and sound. Northern part of Passaic is always known for flooding, especially this time of year. I think you would enjoy great peace and Fairfield. Another place you may like better for fishing, launch at pompton falls on route 23 the pompton River Pike and trout.

That I’m not sure about. One of the Hackettstown hatchery employees, Ron, wrote a good article on the fishery. I’ll see if I can find it and post it here. May be useful for you and others.
