Friday's weather looks to be nearly perfect, even better before the inclement weather and wind for Saturday...........Can't wait, good luck to all

It seems that every year you hear about some monster buck being shot on Halloween.  Great day to be in the woods.

Lemmy - Disturbing.

Not that kind of monster.

I'm seriously hoping I start to feel better by tomorrow, I NEED to get out there.

I went and had a blast at the Wounded Warrior hunt last week, GREAT TIME with AMAZING PEOPLE as always!....But then snap back to reality and the day I got home, I got knocked for a loop with the flu or something. 8 days later and it' kicking my arse worse than the first couple days.

Of course I probably made it worse by trying to hunt on Saturday, but I had promised a friend to take him and his son out, so I had to go. I hung there in the tree like a lifeless scarecrow trying not to cough or pass out. No one saw a deer that day anyway, not until we were leaving and they were running in front of our headlights. Buggers.

Someone has to get out there though! Do it so I can at least live vicariously through you! lol

Tomorrow and Saturday are probably going to be great days, even if the winds kick up some. During the rut, I've seen some slammers on ultra windy days.

I was hoping to get in my tree for a midday sit today but work just won't let me go until tomorrow afternoon.  That said, a buddy is on stand today and the bucks are chasing does including on nice 8 that stayed out of his range while following 3 does.  I saw a decent buck in my woodlot earlier this morning and the only time I ever see bucks there is during the rut.

Sure it's not Ebola?

Sapere aude.

Audeamus.

When you cannot measure, your knowledge is meager and unsatisfactory.
