Hunted A Old/New Spot Today....With One Issue !!!

Yesterday afternoon I went to check my cams and of course bears, no deer. So with that I walked over to a old spot, last time I hunted it was on the 2nd day of the shotgun hunt 2003. I knew I maybe hunting it, so before heading up I stopped at Dick's Sporting Goods for a swing arm bow holder, I also forgot to pack two screw in treesteps as I use them to hang my backpack and quiver on them. So while walking there with my climber I realized I forgot the treesteps, no biggie I will go buy two and screw them in the morning. I get to the tree and saw that two treesteps are in there, OK climb up to put the bow holder in, I screwed it in, and then slightly nudged it, BAM !!!!!  the weld gave way, where the threads are welded to the bow holder's arm. So off to local store for a new one (different brand) I get to the house in PA and it was still early enough to call Hunters Specialties, told them what happened, they wouldn't replace it...........I guess their CS sucks as does this swing arm, I will bring it back to Dick's Sporting Goods, see what they say......Thank God I nudged it, before placing my bow on it !!!
