the bite is starting!!!!!

was up the big lake yesterday from 9am till 2pm fishing the open water.had 6 crappie,5 perch and lost a few.jig & bobber with a reel and pause presentation .pink and green were the colors.

just got back with a good limit.fished from 7am -9am.all from shore.all skinny water that can heat up fast.

we refer to the main lake at Assunpink WMA as the “big lake” sometimes.

it’s more of a pond compared to Hopatcong!

Last Friday - this was 18", 3.5 lbs. My buddy caught another of similar size. We added a couple large picks and a few other smaller bass and picks... March fishing is usually really good when the temps warm up for a couple days.
