A couple hold overs

Fished for an hour tonight .

had 2 nice holdovers . One on second cast , next on the fourth .

not a touch after that .

was good just to get out in the fresh air .

My Buddy caught a 15" Rainbow on Thursday. Nice day to fish a stream.

I just grabbed a rod from my garage that hadn’t been moved yet .

rod I normally use is a Fenwick HMG spinning  Ml 6’ or Ml 6’9” both rated for 1/8-5/8 Oz  .

‘the 6’ works great on all small water and mid size rivers , the 6’9” really gives a lot of extra distance on larger rivers .

 

I use same rated rod in 7’6” for shad .

7'6 -8' light -ML is my favorite Delaware rods. I just like buying more stuff all the time lol Gonna check out the HMG  thanks.
