I like Springfield, ruger Konig,  and S&W

Hope for trp or S&W when I meet one of my goals as a reward for myself.

You better have big hands to handle magnum research pistols. I have handled the 357 and 44 mag, both were to big for me to properly hold. Trigger finger barley reached the trigger. Thats why i dont have both of them. Back in 2014 cabelas postfalls had them on sale for around 1100$ each. Thats when i bought my first glock g20c. But MR was my first choice

Is that you offering to buy it for me if so ill take it lol

If you guys want to shoot a hand cannon I will meet you at Central Jersey rifle and pistol club.

Buy a box of .460 or .454 casual whichever you prefer and you can send a few from my S&W 460 .

I would need to see you shoot something like a 44 mag to be sure that you can handle it ( no offense but if you shoot the 460 you will understand. You feel it in your chest and the the ground .

Kimber snob update. So my 10 mm target Kimber long slide is on its way back to Kimber.

I call it the jam o matic. It will not chamber a single round unless you use your finger to place the round in the chamber.

Kimber was very nice about sending it back but it will be 8 weeks. I bought a Glock model 40 10 mm MOS long slide for the hog hunt .

The Glock ( that I bash all the time) worked flawlessly ! I mounted a red dot and it was stacking bullets at 33 feet .

Dropped my hog one shot at about 28 yards . (ranged him but he was moving)

So my pretty Kimber hopefully will be better when it comes back. By the way $1400 for the Kimber and $850 for the Glock

For those of you that I said Glock triggers suck and they plastic junk , I EAT MY WORDS

Sorry to hear about the Kimber. Whenever I think of buying one I can't because of stories like yours.  For the price they should have zero issues.  Crazy.  Spoke to one guy who works on 1911s and he was like all you need to do is polish the feed ramp, chamber etc.  I said for that price I shouldn't have to do anything.  He didn't think it was funny when I said the pistol should eat, swallow, take it like a porn star.   Lol.

As for Glocks.  They work.  They go bang.  I have multiple.  They are the AR of the handgun world.  No better gun out of the box for that price point.

Congrats on the pig.
