I am admittedly a Kimber snob . I also wanted a longer barrel .

I really wanted the Sig but they were crazy prices and i love my other two Kimbers .

I have this pistol and absolutely love it:  https://www.kimberamerica.com/stainless-target-ls-2

I have the .45 ACP version, but they also have one in 10mm.  Highly recommend this pistol.  It has a longer barrel, and it makes a lot of difference.  I wouldn't use it as a carry gun by any means, but it's an outstanding range gun.

Here is your price range:  https://www.gunbroker.com/Semi-Auto-Pistols/search?Keywords=kimber stainless target 10mm&Sort=13&PageSize=96

I've been throwing around getting a 10 mm.  Not sure if I want to go 1911 frame or springfield xdm.  I live my xdm in 9mm.   I will be picking up a para 1911 In 45 acp shortly so after shooting that I will decide
Why don't you just get the .45 and get a compatible 10mm rail later? If the 10mm is too much gun for you, you'd easily be able to sail it down the road.
You might just go heavy on the .40 cal. loads for your 10mm fix.

That's another idea as well.  I've shot 10mm before so it's not to much.  I'm just kicking around what to do with 3rd permit

If I buy one I'll definitely let you shoot it, but you won't be taking it home.  :)

Hey dosnt hurt to try lol.

Once I shoot the para I will decide I'd ill go 1911 frame or go with the xdm in 10mm.  I'm also looking at a taurus revolver in 38/357 that also comes with 9mm cylinder

I'm not sure what my next pistol will be.  I think I might want to get a 1911 or a heavier-frame pistol for .40 S&W.  I have a Glock G23 Gen 4 that shoots .40 S&W, and that's way too snappy.  It works, and I can shoot it, but when I started shooing my Kimber Stainless Long Slide in .45 ACP, I found that to be a much better shooting experience.  I could shoot that gun all day long.

You better have big hands to handle magnum research pistols. I have handled the 357 and 44 mag, both were to big for me to properly hold. Trigger finger barley reached the trigger. Thats why i dont have both of them. Back in 2014 cabelas postfalls had them on sale for around 1100$ each. Thats when i bought my first glock g20c. But MR was my first choice
