Snowshoe build

This past summer a homeowner whoes home I was working on, was moving to Georgia. 

He had purchased two pair of snowshoe kit builds and wasn't going to be  needing them down there. So he asked me if I wanted them. Since I already had a pair , I declined. Shortly after I saw him getting ready  to toss them in the dumpster, I decided to give it a try 

It actually turned out to be kind of fun to do on these cold winter nights by the fire.

Attached the bindings today after letting the second coat of marine varnish  dry overnight.

I may try building a pair of Bearpaw from scratch, frame and all.

Guess I better gather my ash now before it's all dead.

Wow those came out great. One of these days I’m going to get myself a pair. I might do the build, now that I know that’s a thing. I enjoy things like that.
