Didn't get an email notification.  When I logged on to check status, all I got were three boxes indicating that I didn't apply for a beaver permit, otter permit, and some other trapping permit.  Nothing about the status of my bear permit application.  I found my print-out of my application with my transaction number.  HHHmmmmmmmmmmmm.  Maybe tomorrow?

LittleM, click on the box where you would make a purchase of licenses, then scroll down it should show you about all your purchases of licenses and permits including the bear permit

Just did that - shows nothing.  But I called the 800 number and guy said it was awarded.  I guess I'll stop by Simon Peters tonight and see if I can pick it up.

Thanks, BHC.  I called the 800 number at 8:00 this morning and a very nice guy picked right up, looked me up by my CID and told me that I was in fact issued a Zone 2 Permit on the 20th.   So I went to Simon Peters after work and sure enough, it printed right out.  Funny but none of my purchases show up on the website, so some thing is definitely wrong.

I just double checked the site and I was awarded a permit. The state must really want hunters to take quite a few bear this year if they are offering cookbooks to those lucky enough to bag one!

add also radio ads promoting the hunt.....so either they want more bears taken or not many applied as in years past

Printed mine out today at the fly shop, so I'm all set.  No need for the Geritol......
