Took a neck bone and put in crock pot all day. Pan seared with flour, then covered in crock pot w/ crushed tomatoes, carrots, onions, celery, garlic, onion powder, thyme, Adobo, red wine and some beef broth. Cooked for 12 hours and served in top of risotto. Amazing

Shanks are the most underated meat on the deer. Slow cooked they're delicious.
