Do white-tails wallow?

Outside of NJ when I hunt Sika and hybrids, the wallow is the most coveted of finds.  Even better than a scrape.

I haven't heard much discussion of wallows when it comes to white-tail or mule.  Do either wallow?

No wallows with whitetails, look for rub lines and scrapes.

Actually, funnels during the rut are more productive.

There's definitely a chance that I could be wrong, but I believe elk and bison are the only animals in North America that use wallows.

Here's an elk wallow in Idaho.

“I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear

Never seen it happen with white tails unless they are dieing...

Saw something like it once, thought the deer looked a bit mangy.  Probably, due to bad ticks or the like.  Out of season, not close to rut.
