As I was cleaning the skull from my daughter's buck the teeth fell out.  They are worn down to nubs.

 

How old do you think this deer is???

That's what happens when you bait them with molasses blocks, power corn, sugar beats, and deer cocaine! lol  I would say 1.5 also, by looking at the pedicles on that deer it looks young.

Those are his baby teeth, man... He was a yung'n...

 

We have a winner.   :up:

 

At 1.5 years old, deer lose their premolars and replace them with permanent ones.  If you look at the first picture you can see the new one coming in.

To be more specific, I learned this last time we had this discussion when Jakesbeard pointed out that it's not actually at 18 months (1.5), but 17 months. So technically we're all wrong. lol
