My brother has one of these too. Lots of fun. If I come across one in a store, I will definitely buy it.

Don't have one, but spent some time asking questions from a bunch of PCC guys in IDPA and USPSA matches. The Ruger is a solid choice, especially if you already have compatible handguns mags. CZ Scorpion and Sig MPX are very popular, and I've seen both run more than 10K rounds for guys that really don't clean them at all.

Top-o-the-line is the JP GMR. Probably overkill, unless you plan on competing.

Mostly because it's .40 S&W.  Badass cartridge.

I like the Sig MPX and I also like the Troy A4 "other firearm" too.  The Ruger is like half the price though

My buddy's dad used to hunt with a .45 ACP carbine.  Neat gun.  Now for some reason I want one.

I have the Troy A4 “Other” chambered in 9mm. Had one in .223 and sold it to buy the 9mm. I looked seriously at the Ruger PC but went with the Troy for its short barrel and adjustable pistol brace.

Sig MPX with 8" barrel and collapsible brace was my favorite gun ever.  Had it when I lived out of state.  Had a nicr aimpoint red dot...so much fun

I highly recommend one of these in 9 mm. I have one....just make sure it in NJ compliant. Well made & simple to shoot.

If NJ ever legalized hunting with a pistol caliber carbine I would immediately be in the market for a lever action chambered in.357mag or.44mag.
