Really? I would expect something like this on the other site but I didn't think that would be tolerated here. And you're a cop? Don't you realize a comment like that on a public forum could cost you your job? In the wake of what happened this is extremely distasteful and I hope you can realize that.

I actually found it really inappropriate too Joe.

 

Not that I think there's anything wrong with joking around or even using race/religion to crack jokes...(part of the problem these days is people can't laugh at themselves and everything is so "PC")...

 

However, given the situation and the fact it was such a tragedy where a young man lost his life. I thought the joke wasn't cool and totally uncalled for.

You didn't offend me personally, so we're good man, PEACE.  Just keep in mind that there are all different types of people and kids who visit this site.  I'm serious about being careful about what you post online though.  You never know who is reading it and once it is out there you can't take it back.  We hear stories like this on the news all the time and people are always looking to get the people in public service jobs.
