I'm awful  low on buckshot. Been looking for 6-7 months.

I have two guns that pattern very good with either Federal or Winchester copper plated buckshot.

If you have any 3" that your willing to part with please let me know.

Thx!

I told you I have some...only 8 shells, unfortunately. Lots of 2 3/4...

There are two versions...12 pellet & 15 pellet I think. Which is better?

Well "better" is a relative question. I don't know of any 3" 00 with 12 pellets. I know Winchester makes a 3.5" with 15 pellets where others carry 18. The difference will be more velocity with the lower pellet count. I know that Winchester's 3.5" 00 load is about 300 fps faster than Federal and Remington's 18 pellet load.

You are trading velocity for more pellets. It's subjective which is better. If your gun shoots tight patterns, you may opt for more velocity. If it shoots more open, you may benefit from more pellets.

I am not a buckshot hunter. I use slugs only. I have both 12 & 15 pellet 3 inch, 3.5 inch, & lots of 2 3/4. Just checked, Winchester still makes a 12 & 15 pellet, 3 inch bs. I guess pattern both and see what shoots best

OK, I never saw those.  So like I said, it's a velocity difference aside from the obvious less pellets. The 15 pellet load is 1210 fps., 250 fps less than the 12 pellet load.

You choose what's more important. Speed or pellet count.
